Phase 01

Discovery

Understanding the people, the market and the mess we were walking into.

01Key chapter

Problem

Early-stage founders need a partner who can move between strategy, brand, product and pitch — without stitching together four agencies.

02Key chapter

Research

Every engagement starts with a diagnostic: audience, offer, product truth, competitive white space.

03

Business Goal

Sustainable independent studio, principal-led, referral-driven, high-trust engagements.

04

Target Users

Founders raising seed to Series B, and product teams inside larger orgs who want a senior sparring partner.

05

User Journey

Discovery call, diagnostic sprint, defined engagement (brand, product or system), handoff and ongoing advisory.

06

Pain Points

Founders under time pressure, unclear briefs, misalignment between founders and investors on brand direction.

07

Personas

The technical solo founder, the two-founder consumer duo, the corporate innovation lead.

08

Competitive Analysis

Studios either scale (agencies) or specialise (freelancers). We chose principal-led range as the wedge.

Phase 02

Design

From structure to surface — turning insight into an interface that ships.

01

Information Architecture

Three service lines: Brand, Product, AI Systems. Each with a clear engagement shape and pricing.

02

Wireframes

Standardised diagnostic template used across every project — the frame is fixed so the ideas can be original.

03

UI Design

Studio identity is intentionally quiet — the client work speaks. Editorial site, no case study card patterns copy-pasted from other studios.

04

Prototype

Pitch decks and prototypes are treated as first-class deliverables, not throwaways.

05

Challenges

Staying principal-led while scaling. Choosing which projects to say no to.

06

Iterations

Service lines have been re-cut twice as AI has moved from novelty to default.

Phase 03

Delivery

What we shipped, what it moved, and what I'd do next.

01Key chapter

Final Solution

A studio built for founders who want senior craft, moving fast, without the overhead of an agency.

02Key chapter

Impact

40+ brands shipped, 8 funded raises supported, 12 countries served. 100% referral pipeline.

03Key chapter

Lessons Learned

The best marketing is doing the work well and letting founders talk.

04

Future Opportunities

A small in-house product incubation arm, and a curated AI-native design partner network.
